Stronger and weirder every day! I am leaning on Stronger and weirder every day! 

 I am leaning on my healthy coping routines to combat the overall BLAH of it all. It makes me feel a little odd and different but I've never seen those qualities as negatives but as strengths beyond the normal.

This is not an emotionally or mentally easy time to be alive.  So much pressure and all out hatred is spreading like wildfire.

It's like watching animal groups in the wild try to establish a pecking order but end up killing each other and breaking the strength of the group as a whole then those that remain are picked off one by one by the other predators. 

 Control is often an illusion and hatred is never necessary. They are ways our minds try to keep us safe but often backfire.

What is your favorite healthy coping activity that brings you peace and feelings of safety?

I live mine through fitness and music every  day.

Short term progress post. I cheated on my meal p Short term progress post. 

I cheated on my meal plan this weekend.  I dont feel guilty about it but I need to remain aware of self-sabotage and stay vigilant most of the time if I want to keep seeing results. I enjoyed my time with family and nature immensely and am right back on even though I definitely could feel the difference in my energy level yesterday.

The first picture is current 5 lbs down after 1500 approx calories a day and around 60 minutes of moderate to hard workouts 5 times during the week.  The second is before making more focused changes to my routine but still working out hard consistently.

I see a difference in the shape and definition of my glutes, hammies and quads.  My mid-section has tapered slightly and has a tiny bit more definition as well as my upper body. 

Not bad for a little over a week.  It is mostly water weight but with continued devotion to a more structured meal/workout plan I will continue to see changes in physique.

Food is definitely the key to quick results.  It's just not always satisfying to my sweet tooth. 

Here's the most important part!
I AM ENJOYING THE JOURNEY!
